Are skunks rodents?

Skunks are very easy to recognize due to their black and white pattern and bushy tail. There are almost five species that are founded in the united state while the striped skink species lives in New England. 

How to identify a skunk? 

You can identify them with the help of their specific features like their color, although it can vary as an albino, black and brown. The male and female skunk almost looks like, but you can identify them with the size. Female skunk is one fourth smaller than the male skunk. 

When they become more active? 

They stay more active at night as compared to the day, in the day they prefer to sleep, but in dark places like in porches, they wake up in the evening time and then get out in search of food.
